Four German active non-pro􀁿t organizations have established the Alliance for Global Development.
AGD has two offices based in Luxembourg and Germany. The Alliance for Global Development is a
network of organizations working to promote global development. The organization currently has
Associate members from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. AGD works
within 12 program areas ranging from international migration, human rights, youth mobility,
Education, Research and Development, Good Governance and Peacebuilding, Environmental Protection, Europe, in particular, have realized that it is essential to work through transnational context to promote global development. In this approach, they are affecting synergetic mobilities to create a tangible impact
on the improvement of societies and people. AGD programs support skills development, social inclusion,
critical thinking, and youth engagement. AGD’s members have a synergy-based mindset with
complementary missions that amplify the impact of the projects in their respective fields.
